mp3 via bluetooth again

could someone please patiently explain how I can play mp3 music that is on my Android phone in the car - 2022 V60CC with Sensus, phone is 3 year old Samsung S10
I have searched the forum and read the manual but I just cant figure it out.
The phone is connected via bluetooth OK and works for calls etc.

Have you selected BT as the media source in the media settings. If it is not in the media side bar settings swipe Sensus screen to the right and it should be at the top of the screen, once selected it will then be in the media side bar list.

so there's no way of playing "random" tracks?

....and on that theme....I also noticed the option of using a USB adaptor and micro SD card which suits us better...
I got it working but there is seemingly no way of playing tracks in random order...they are either A to Z or only a whole CD's worth at a time ( I have copied all our CD's to mp3)

You can play random songs!
Once you have the music playing, click on the ‘now playing’ button on the left of the sensus screen and you can then select the ‘wavey’ button which means the music will now play randomly.
