Default 2022 XC60 T8 Hybrid failures

Shortly before Christmas my XC60 developed a fault with the Pre Heat Circuit. Follow diagnostics the Heater has died. A minor inconveinience but I could live without it. Told UK Volve are awaiting stock before repair can be undertaken with no timeframe given. Not very good imo. A week ago the electric drive stopped working. Took vehicle into dealership and they have sent query to Volvo with no answer following a weeks wait. I now feel like the car should be returned under 'not fit for purpose' heading but am unsure if this applies as the vehicle is just over 12 months old? Is anyone experiancing the same issues? Thanks.

Have you owned the car from new? If so, then as it's more than six months since purchase, to reject the car you would have to prove that the problem existed when it was sold to you. You would need to provide evidence for this, probably in the form of an independent report commissioned by you.

IMO (I'm no lawyer) a rejection after 12 months is unlikely to succeed.
