A revelation
OK, a slightly negative thread below on voice calling, but now the positives. First long journey in my new (ex demo) V90 T6 petrol recharge after swapping out a D4 V90.
I was concerned about the loss of switching in and out of steering assist using the steering wheel buttons. I am a big user of pilot assist on a regular trip from lancs to Portsmouth. On the D4 I would expect pilot assist to lose tracking fairly regularly when weather was rainy and lane markings poor, hence much switching. Pilot assist on the T6 is MUCH better. Only one very short disconnect, otherwise it seemed to find the lane in condition the D4 wouldn't look at. Also seemed to hold the lane better on outside lane bends where the D4 had a tendency to drift wide. Stayed in pilot assist for 95% of the journey and the need to switch in and out wasn't there. It almost seems like the assist is also taking map data to aid lane keeping - I'm sure the D4 didn't do this, I'm not so sure the T6 doesn't - the lane keeping is just so good. With battery on "hold" for the whole 250 miles the mpg was 38. That is not bad at all! Other pluses - performance is in a different league. Radio Paradise app works (try it if you haven't) - listen to this loads, and before it was a slightly iffy bluetooth sync playing from phone. Google maps has better voice search, but I preferred the RTTI traffic on sensus over the google - it seemed a bit easier to see what is happening long range, but really no better/worse overall, just a bit different It's a company car I changed really for the BIK because the D4 was a great car

Mine was terrible like yours on my 2017 v90 until I had my windscreen replaced. They recalibrated it properly improving the intellisafe box perfectly!
This might have been your problem all along! Good for other owners to know.

I had it from new. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with it - it was actually brilliant but did lose "connection" in some poor conditions., the latest version is even better.
