S60 T5SE Manual for Sale
Hi all, back in June I was trying to work out whether to sell or not but my new car's delivery date has now come forward to early December so it's back on again.
* I've owned the car from new. I'm based in Windsor * 144k miles. First seven or so years it commuted into London but last few years mileage has been very low. * It's a 2002 T5 SE Manual with Winter Pack, folding door mirrors, folding rear head restraints and rear parking sensors. Colour is Dark Grey metallic with Black Leather interior. * It's got an MTE Stage 2 tune, with a Ferrita full exhaust system, supplied by Don at Kalmar Union * Has always been run on Shell V-Power / Nitro+ * Has been garaged for it's entire life * Suspension was changed to Koni FSDs and Eibach Pro-Sport Springs * Full service history, have all the invoices and bills. Including new A/C compressor and an alternator a few years ago. A/C is icy cold * I'd say it's in very good condition for it's age. It has always been washed by hand by me. Lovely beading in the rain if I do say so myself. The wheels have been refurbished though one is scratched again. Driver's door card has a small split in the armrest * Tyres are in good condition, 1k ago they were read as 4 across the two front and 7 across the two back. Continental Sport Contact 5 on rear, Michelin Pilot Sport 3 on the front * MOT history is clear, but it is short, current one expires 11 Nov What's wrong with it? * It stutters intermittently under partial load (started about 500 miles ago). No codes recorded for things like Spark plugs or Injectors, on full load is ok. Has had a can of injector cleaner but didn't clear it. * Due for a cambelt change * Recently had lower suspension arms and one top mount fixed to try and cure heavy tramlining. It's better but still it's not perfect * Fuel filler door no longer locks * CEL light is on. It's been on/off for a few years now. Volvo code is something like catalytic convertor efficiency reduced. It gets reset on it's annual service and then passes the MOT, stays off for a few months and comes back. Given the Ferrita downpipe / cat and because it consistently passes the MOT I've given up on trying to find a solution (that didn't involve swapping expensive pieces like lambda sensors out). * One other code registering about "clutch position sensor". It is on its second clutch but the bite point and gear change seems fine. * It needs a clean but we're in a hosepipe ban at the moment and I refuse to put it through a car wash machine I'm offering it at £800 |

I think £1,800 would be superb. And I've just had a new kitchen put in so the money would be nice.
But as the new car is coming sooner than expected I need the space in the garage. The new one was supposed to arrive mid-January and I was expecting to pay for a service and an MOT and put it on at a higher price. Now the delivery dates have changed to early December I'm trying to save myself the hassle and costs of a service and MOT. Thanks for reading! |
