Default preconditioning causes fog on windows

I have a problem with my V60 D5 twin engine 2018. When the preconditioning is activated, and the weather outside is rain, the windows inside the car are full of fog. The car has been checked by the dealer, but nothing was found.
Is there anyone with the same issue? How was it resolved?
Thanks

I don't know the answer because I haven't used preconditioning in the 10 (warm) months I have had my car, but:-

If any modern car steams (fogs) up it is either because the air conditioning is not 'on' or the recirculation button has been pressed. Is the air conditioning ok in normal use ?

When I used to use the preconditioning, I had to make sure I turned the car off the previous evening with the a/c "turned on".
That way, when the preconditioning started, the a/c would also run and the windows would be clear.
