Afternoon Everyone,
I'm in the process of putting an Amazon back on the road after 32 years. I've been in touch with DVLA with regards to registering the car as "Historic" and I have been asked to provide "Dating Evidence". The car was first registered in May 1962 but DVLA want evidence of when the vehicle was Manufactured. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to how I can obtain this information and what I will then have to produce to DVLA to progress the "Historic" classification......and therefore the free tax and no MOT! Thanks in advance Andrew |

Send an email to:
adm.historical.archive@volvo.com with full particulars of the model and serial number from your Data Plate. They usually respond with their production register data, including manufacture date. |
