Lightbulb Sat Nav & TV Tunner

I have recently imported a XC60T6 from Japan and what a great car but. The sat nav and tv tuner are set for that part of the world and they don't work. This is not a big issue for me but if i could fix it at reenable price i might.

The first route i was told was i need to replace the IHU unit but would need to work out what one i would need for the UK market and what hardware code

But today i came across a article about Vdash and how i might be able to go in and change the reginal settings on the car and then download the maps for the navigation and maybe the tv tuner would work.

So does anyone on here have any experience of this issue and what they found?

Does anyone use Vdash and know if this is possible to chnage the cars region?

or should i just use google maps?

The link below shows what i have found out today

Have you asked if a dealer can change the settings?
