Just a thought...

I was recently looking over a car belonging to a friend of my Daughter, that was reported to feel a bit nervous and wayward feeling. It was her first car, given to her by her grandma, and compared to thar which she was used to driving it didn't feel quite right.

Tyre tread looked ok, abut 5mm all round, but while checking the pressures I noticed the date code had the rubber was nearly a decade old. New tires sorted the problem instantly.

I cannot recommend Rawse Motor Technicians enough. 01274 743310

A fantastic outfit, very profesional and have official diagnostics at a very reasonable price paid in cash.

Big big thanks to them for sorting me out.

So do you think the water is getting in the boot through the light seals and i should check them out and its a £10-ish fix (part number avail or ebay link?)

Cheers Simmy
The most common cause of water ingress is the drain pipe being blocked . Just clean it and it's a free fix.

When you open th boot you'll see them at the edge.

any water that cannot get down the drains goes to the rear and straight over the lights check light seals and drains for boot lid channels
