I used to work on those Mark - Caterpillar 35C16, 69L V16 diseasel originally, most of the ones i worked on had spark ignition and ran on methane derived from landfill gas.

What were the bigger ones fitted to Luke?

What GPM is more like it! ![]() I know in Australia they use the 35C16 in the dump trucks for mining and i think they get about 4mpg tops on a good day but they use a different method of measuring consumption as for a start they only have litres of fuel there. ![]() There's an engine in there somewhere! ![]()
