Default Traffic spec car -uprated springs/possibly dampers

Hi all-recently purchased my latest xc70 d5 a 215bhp 63 plate on 144k now

Noticed front end feel not as good as my previous xc70-a 2011 d5-ex police
its probably a little more comfy, but not as planted mid corner[and its on better tyres-cross climates vs bridgestones]nothing wrong with it,just softer

my ex cop one was on all original stuff at front end too-no new bits...

Just curious really-i know the police spec are a special build from volvo[or were] its even got sticker on door jamb

Since police cars typically are heavily laden all the time, they frequently have beefier specifications for springs and similar.

Police cars have updated brakes, suspension and wheels to carry the additional loads.
