Default Is this normal?

Hi guys,

Just looking for a little help. I have a 2019 S90 and have noticed (most prominently in second gear) when I accelerate, the car will slightly drop revs even with constant throttle. After a second or two, the revs begin to rise again.

You can see at around 6 seconds in the video the revs dropping even though I'm still on the accelerator.

Car also makes a bit of a clunk when shifting from reverse > neutral > drive. Can feel the clunk too.

Any help greatly appreciated.

VIDEO LINK

Thanks,
Jonny

I have the same model and year. Can't say I have noticed the issues you describe however I will give this more attention and let you know if I experience this. Is it happening in full auto or when you are manually selecting gears as I have never used the manual shift mode.

I tried this out this afternoon with both paddles and gear lever but this problem was not evident. Maybe you should consult your dealer. Are you still under guarantee? My car is a 2018 V90 R Design D4

I have a feeling this may be the ECM/TCM reigning back the power momentarily while using the manual feature. I had a previous car which did the same in the low gears, lots of torque going through the FWD. Does the same occur when driving with the same throttle in fully auto?
The 'clunk' might be resolved with a transmission software revision.
