I've ordered a V70 hybrid and have realised that there is no space saver wheel option. This being due to batteries housed where the spare would fit. I can see several options but what is the consensus here. Suspect its a wheel in a bag in the boot??

The Volvo sealer and electeic pump is excellent, and will do the job very well short of a totally shredded tyre.

Which car have you ordered? V70 is not a current model, the V60/V90 SPA batteries cause you to loose centre armrest space not the rear boot space, its likely the SPA platform has no spare wheel in the chassis shape,

I just try not to think about the lack of spare wheel when I’m out and about!

I have never known of a situation where the pump and gunk actually work. Even for a smallish hole it just peed out and down the road.
I got a spacesaver and have it in a bag in the boot. I struggled to find a spacesaver to fit as the T8 has bigger front brake disks. Consequently mine will only fit the back axle so in case of a front puncture it would involve some shuffling about. That said, after 6 years and 132k miles it has never been on the car, but I have had the inconvenience of 6 years of it cluttering up the boot......

It is a Volvo wheel, jack and brace. All ordered at the same time as the car. It took the dealer a few goes of ordering until they found me one which fitted. The bag is aftermarket (in fact 2 bags) which keeps the rubber smell at bay. I have a luggage strap around the seat back of the folded 3rd row seat and holding the wheel in place.
