Default XC70 D5 unknown possible injector problem

Greetings guys!

This week I bought an XC70 2007 2.4 D5 185 AWD. The car has 105.000 miles clocked and is in great shape aesthetically. There are 2 problems with the car though, of which one was unfortunately withheld from me. The first one is a dead radio which shouldn't be a pain in the ass repairing or replacing, the second one though is a bit more ambiguous. The car system intermittently through out a yellow triangle (Engine service required). Tester (not Vida but Delphi) reveals two codes:

7700:
- Engine control unit
- Communication error

2670:
- Output stage fuel injector 1
- Faulty signal

The car otherwise behaves and drives normally, it doesn't lose power, doesn't go into limp mode, doesn't misfire or produce any other engine failure related symptoms. There is maybe a faint burnt oil smell present in the cabin when idling after a drive (not sure if related to the faults above) and it starts lazily if it hasn't been driven for a week or so. Previous owner says that the faults have been present for a while and that he took it do the dealer where they checked it and said that they can't find a fault and that it's probably nothing. Here lies the problem. Should I be worried? Should I try to find a fault and remedy it or ignore it for now and drive the car until a problem arises (if it does)? Did anyone face a similar problem?
