Faulty Alarm System.
I drive a S60 2016 model and the warning light has come on informing that the alarm system is faulty and needs a service, recently the front and rear lights have started to flash when i lock the doors and today the alarm went off when i entered the drivers door. This car is volvo no 7 for me although the first s60 as i had driven s40s and in all my years i have never encountered this problem before. At the moment the car battery warning light is indicating low charge, could this be adding to the faulty alarm i do need some sound advice to solve this, thanks Lawnmower man.

Rusty/aged alarm batteries can cause this problem
I returned to the Volvo dealer and replaced it with a new alarm siren. Price I can't help because of the warranty I use |
