Default heater matrix

Hi,

i am getting a rumbling/gurgling noise from what sounds to be behind the dash this only happens now and again and lasts for about twenty seconds, i have removed the fuse from the heater and still makes the noise, if i remember right i think there is a rubber drain tube from matrix area to the transmission tunnel, i am thinking could this be blocked? If it is blocked what is its purpose, is it to drain coolant or condensation,?

Thanks, Craig.

the tube is to drain condensation from the AC evaporator , gurgling could be low gas in the AC . does it cool ok?

The air con was leaking at the a/c pipes at the engine side of the bulkhead years ago, the car is running a shorter fan-belt by passing a/c pump,

Clan, i will go with your theory.
