  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

Buy your genuine disks and pads with at least 20% off list at:-

Then if you are handy with the spanners fit them yourself or if not so confident get a decent local mechanic to do so. There are ways around the handbrake issue. Either a device such as NU11EAF posted, or there is a method using a PP3 battery.

Volvo disk and pads replacement labour is I think about 1.25 hours per axle, so labour at Volvo main dealer rates could be 300 quid for the total job. You might find a decent mechanic to do it for better than half that.

My local independent garage has changed all my previous V90 pads and disks with Volvo parts, with no issues with reset codes and for a fraction of main dealer price.

I’m afraid I’ve lost confidence in my supplying dealer. Could I take it to another dealer with my (relatively minor) complaint?
