LDW to LKA upgrade
Good day!
I would like to compliment the community you have build with this forum and is really nice to see all enthisiasts in one place I just bought my first Volvo two weeks ago, is a XC60 2017 old model, automatic, D4, AWD. I have done 3k km so far and i have to tell the driving experience is unbelivable My XC60 has a radar infront with an adaptive cruise control. To be honest, i tought it has also Lane Keep Assistance, so it actively turns the stearing wheel when approching the lane. But it doesn't, i just get the sound signal. When i was looking for such a car i was paying attention at the console button with the icon of the car leaving the lane. So how can you see that the car only has LDW and not LKA without testing it? It looks the icon is the same in both cases. Has somebody already done the upgrade if this is even possible? Thank you and have a nice day! |

Hi
I'm glad you are enjoying your car. The feature you are referring to is called 'Pilot Assist' in Volvo world. This will steer the car and control the speed to help the driver stay in lane. I used to have an old model XC60 (2015) and Pilot Assist wasn't available on that model, only the newer SPA cars. Hope this helps. |
