You have a D5244T10 twin turbo so double the checks for each boost control component.

I can see one of the control valves back top of engine, where is the other one located ? Also do you know which one controls the smaller turbo as problem is always when we pull away from stand still.
Which nipple would I put the vacuum checker on ? Thank you, really appreciate all the help. |

You begin by testing the actuator which from memory is back right of engine for holding vacuum. Pull the hose and pull a vacuum on the actuator nipple.
I'm guessing the other turbo is lower down the engine.

I don't know off hand so would either follow the pipework before removal, see the exploded parts diagram in Vida or check the boost system design and function section of Vida.

Is anybody able to post an exploded view of the boost control pipework for my engine please. I still haven't got to the bottom.of the problem. I have had 2 trips with full boost when I removed a boost pipe which went from the 2nd boost control valve down the right hand side of the engine and replaced it. Then cleared codes. The boost would only last for one trip tho then be lost on next start up. I will post picture of pipe.

Attached is picture showing route of pipe I removed. I'm.not sure if anything to do with this pipe or I have a broken wire on connector I have to remove on booster valve. At a loss.

Just had a little go with a vacuum gauge first of all testing the pressure from the brake vacuum pump and that gave a constant pressure. One hose from.that leads to a vacuum solenoid 2 way. See photo. I connected gauge on outlet nipple and got good pressure. The pressure continued to be constant with reving the engine so not sure what this solenoid is doing. Should the pressure be dropping when engine revs over 1k as watched in video ? Is there anyway of test power supply to this solenoid ? Thanks
