Default Loose trim

**2007 S80 P3**

Hi chaps,

The plastic trim piece towards the bottom of the driver's door has come loose (I think Volvo call it a moulding, but it may be known as a side skirt). Anyway, one part of it is clipped & secure, but the other end isn't. It doesn't sit flush, hangs down & stands out like a sore thumb.

It looks like the clips that should secure the trim in place were broken in the past & it has been stuck on with some kind of clear adhesive (on the end that's not secure). It probably wasn't the right stuff to use, hence why its now hanging off.

Can anyone recommend any good products that will hold this trim piece on? As the clips are already missing, I don't mind using adhesive again (providing it'll last!).

I don't particularly want to take the whole trim piece off to fit new clips, as no doubt, the other clips will break in the process. Or is that the only option? If so, does anyone know which clips I need?

Volvo want a stupid figure for what's effectively a piece of plastic, so I'm definitely not buying a new piece of trim. I just want to try to secure the existing.

Thanks.
