Multiple items from or for our 1968 family B20B 145S
Hi Folks!
I am clearing out a couple of sheds with parts and spares for the first 145S in the UK, imported by my Father into the UK in 1968. I grew up in it, my kids grew up in it, my Father was in ‘The Car’s the Star’ in 1990 (?), two friends had it for a while and became Volvo converts. I left it with another when I moved to China in 2008 after driving it fully roadworthy from Essex to Cornwall, and the trail ran cold. Some of the parts are new, others rare. I will list individually but here’s an overview so if you are stranded save for a part then get in touch. Unearthed so far: B20 engine, I think B20E with fuel injector ports from 1973 144? 4-speed gearbox and propshaft Both LH and RH rear light lenses and seals, great condition Very good front passenger door, little rust, zero holes Multiple chrome trim stripes, both 145 straight and some 144 wheel arch HS6 twin carbs, sound but missing one spring and recommend refresh kit New: B20 standard Deves full piston ring kit New: poly bushes for front suspension upgrade New: poly bushes for rear suspension linkages New: magnetic oil sump plug Bosch alternator Multiple switches: rear defrost, lights, wipers, 2x indicator stalks, reversing light switch New: plastic clutch alignment tool New: steering column felt bearings New: neoprene oil seal to replace front felt seal; plus a couple of new rear oil seals. Spare inlet and exhaust valves, rockers, tappet adjusters. Interior light bodies and lenses Brake items: rear calipers, balancer, distribution block, m/cyl piston |

Don't suppose you have any front suspension wishbones and a front suspension crossmember?

Hi folks
Thanks for the interest. So far I have pictures of items in the first shed. Today I moved about 100 bricks out of the way of the second and I can see it contains two 140 rear passenger doors as well. The engine is behind the 1950's New World gas cooker so no pictures of that particular item but when I get to it, I have an endoscope and will turn it over to see what condition it is in. On prices, guideline half any commercial enterprise anywhere plus UK shipping at cost. I think this works for a clutch alignment tool that I bought from the USA but no help for the engine yet, sorry. VOC is not emailing me notifications of responses so apologies for any delay. |

Found the 'subscribe' button to my own thread so that should help
I will reserve this thread for the engine because I can't get to it and check it over yet. I have taken pictures of other items and will post them on new threads to avoid confusion of topic. Burdekin you ask about some other items. I will link to posts. |

Good Day to All.
A six yard skip has 'appeared' on my driveway and my focus now is that the 50 year old (alledged) 'junk' in my shed goes towards keeping our old Volvo bricks on the road. My revised pricing is £5 for small items such as switches and lenses and £10 for the larger ones such as doors, plus postage at cost only. Sorry that the engine and gearbox are in the other shed. Please review my adverts and ignore the pricing: message intrest. Many other items available. What do you need folks? Let me know Regards Mike |
