'57 P3 XC70 Converting headlights FROM Xenon TO halogen
Hey all,
Bit of an odd question this one. My wife put my P3 XC70 into a pillar and smashed the utter **** out of the passenger side headlight, and I'm looking at £3-400 for a replacement. I've noticed that non-Xenon clusters are significantly cheaper, and so was wondering if it's possible to swap out the Xenon clusters currently in the car, and replace them with non-Xenon (Halogen?) clusters instead? Is there anything that would prevent me from doing this/doing this easily? Cheers, Cam |

It would be a fair challenge.
Everything in these cars are computer controlled. Halogen headlights operate in a different manner electrically to Xenon so you would almost certainly run into issues swapping them. Would likely need a software change which I doubt volvo would provide. |

It may be possible to do but I have a feeling you could end up down a bit of a rabbit hole and a modest amount of work. |
