  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

so I phoned these people up ....

Indeed it is £1,195 but only if your old engine is "servicable" ... However if there is anything wrong with your engine then a surcharge does apply ... which is an extra £500 for a sh&gged crank !


This begs the question ...
1. What does "servicable" actually mean ? It seems to imply servicable=not broken !
2. Why would anyone want a replacement engine if their current one is "servicable" anyway?
3. What all this about then ?!

Yours still sobbing into my pint ....

alls ok i picked up a fantastic 67,000 mile p reg engine from millenium motor spares in pontefract today for a mere £400 with a mint shiny turbo on and all manifolds and injectors
im happy
try www.findapart.co.uk
had an email in return within 5 mins of asking
and its been delivered within 1 hour
i was amazed

also just had a chat to my local garage and they have quoted me £200 to fit it
i think at that price i wont get my hands dirty

btw what is a 2nd hand mint condition turbo worth?
i might sell it to pay some towards the fitting?
