850 R idle noise ?????

hi
i have just bought a 1996 n reg 850 R and it has a small tap noise when on tick over only dosn't matter if the engine is hot or cold i have had cam belt and idle pully and tensioner done today still makes noise.
might it be alternater idle pully tensioner ?????????

Many of the 850's have this, could be the tappets or an injector. It comes and goes on mine. I just ignore it.

Sorry to be a pain but i have taken the drive belt of and the car still makes the same tapping noise.
Doesn't matter if if the car is hot or cold and as soon as the revs go up noise stops
I have flushed oil and put new oil and oil treatment in but get same noise.

I am stuck any ideas ?

Someone said might be my little ends but i was told it would tap all the time.
