leaking power steering
I recently bought an 850 SE 2.0 litre (almost 79000 miles). I keep needing to regularly top up with power steering fluid (about every 3 weeks). I notice there seems to be a leak at the left-hand steering rack rubber boot, and not from the metal-line union nuts on the rack. Is this fixable by myself? I consider myself an experienced and competent DIY mechanic? Thank you.

RE: leaking power steering
Seals have gone in the rack.
Getting parts and the tools to fix it may make an exchange rack more viable. could try: powersteering.co.uk |
