Centre box hinge?

Hi,

Anyone out there know if it is possible to buy just the metal hinge for the central tape box on my 1997 V70 T5? I have pulled the rear ashtray surround out and found that it is possible to unscrew the hinge from that side, and it unscrews from the lid aswell. This would make me hope that it is available as a separate part....

Rang Speeds in Nottm yesterday and they couldn't find it on the system, but not sure how hard the guy was trying. He did quote me for a complete new lid, a snip at only £118!

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Philip,

from my parts list, it does show a separate hinge Part # 9165032

The hinge is on a different drawing from the lid so it's not very obvious.

Thanks for the info. I have ordered it today from Speeds in Mansfield and they promised it in for tomorrow, so will let you know the outcome.
