[Guide] How to remove rear seats
I struggled to find good information regarding how to remove the rear seats in a MK1 C70 Coupé, I needed to do this in order to change one of the rear speakers which was cracking when music was playing. It was a bit daunting when I found out the seats needed to come out but it's not actually that complicated.

Also exactly the same for the Convertible. Seats also need to come out before the rear interior trim panels can be removed.

No, they are the standard convertible subs on the GT spec cars. The seat back fits in front as standard without modification.

Oh I see, you don't have them in the parcelshelf. I wonder how that affects the sound then, doesn't come through as clearly as in the coupe surely?

The convertible doesn't have a parcel shelf - the hood stows there - so Volvo did not have that option, hence behind the seat. The sound is still concert hall quality though.
