I have a 1988 740 estate and the rear boot window seals are all warped and beyond repair. Does anyone know where to find a place that will make some seals that fit? I tried a company called Woolies but unfortunately they were too wide. If anyone knows of a company that makes repoduction parts I'd love to know, Thanks!

Are they not the same as the 940? Just get a used part, they seems to last ok most of the time. Usually find a car breaking on ebay.

They do a lot of different seals for various parts of cars. If you can't find it in their range, there's a chance they'd make new ones from a pattern.

Failing that, as Tony suggests, get some secondhand ones, several 940s being broken in the For Sale section at the moment.

Plenty there to choose from!

Further to the man ^^^^ .

I might be tempted to speak or email these guys in The Netherlands. I suspect they may well be able to tell you what's what as they do, or used to do, the front w/screen trims. A vast majority of the Dutch speak excellent English .... in fact usually better than those in the UK!! Bob :
