Question 'Ticking' noise when cornering

A few days ago I took a bend at some speed, sufficient to bring on the DSTC light on the dashboard. Since then I've noticed a rather alarming irregular 'ticking' noise coming from behind the dashboard when I go round bends.

It sounds like the noise could be a lose cable catching on something, or perhaps a sensor... either way the DSTC light doesn't come on, and the noise stops after the bend. The noise does seem to be coming from directly behind the instrument panel.

Anyone any ideas? Should I be alarmed?

I have what seems like a click when you go around a bend over an uneven surface - would this be similar?

No, not sure it is - this is only on bends.

Sorry.
