360 Radiator
Hi all
I need a radiator for a 1986 360 GL as the one on my new 360 has a leak on it. |

have you tried taking it to a radiator repair specialist? Probably the cheapest option , at least is not one of those throw away plastic and aluminium ones .

That will be worth looking in to, hopefully not too expensive as I shouldn't be spending money on it really as it is way down the list of priorities but it has no coolant in the engine just pure water! Previous owner just topped it up but from the tap it would seem! |

I have fixed a couple of 340 radiators by soldering them up; using a small blowtorch or a 200W electric iron as appropriate with complete success: at least as far as the radiator was concerned.
Now for confession time... Whilst doing the soldering on one of them in the comfort of my girlfriend's conservatory I paid rather less attention than I should have done when putting the iron down and melted a hole in the Vinyl floor covering. Fortunately she still married me but to this day my stepdaughter has never let me forget it. Just ask her about the day I 'soldered the Lino' You'd have hoped that her memory would have faded after more than 25 years but no, not a bit of it! They're usually fixable but do take care!
