Hello all
My 51 plate S80 has the OEM detachable towbar fitted. Unfortunately the 13pin trailer electrics socket has been severely graunched at some point in the past so I need to replace it. I really don’t want to lie on my back soldering a new one on so the easiest course would be to get a complete new Volvo cable assembly of socket, cable and ready-wired connector to plug into the boot loom. It’s an easy job. And I like easy... Lots of generic ones online but I’ve been bitten by those in the past and don’t want to be breaking/splicing into existing circuits when there’s a proper loom. So can anyone suggest where best to buy the pukka assembly? My usual searches are drowning in a sea of generic towbars... 😀

If you can't go to a Volvo dealer try going to www.tascaparts.com. They're in the States so shipping will make you shop local but they will list the p/n with look-up.
