2003 V70R sits too low at rear
Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but it seems to be the relevant one!
I've had my 2003 V70R for a few years now - it's a great car, and as it's converted to LPG it's economical as well. About a year back, following an issue with my self levelling suspension, a small independent dealer changed all my original shock absorbers for non levelling Monroe shocks. To all intents and purposes my self levelling suspension doesn't exist....even though the cars systems think that it still does. However, ever since that change, the rear end has sat low.....and from bits and pieces that I've picked up from the 'net, I understand that this is a well known problem if the switch from self levelling shocks isn't done correctly. Can someone here either tell me what the current thinking is re "self levelling delete", or else point me in the direction of previous threads where it's been discussed? Any advice appreciated; thanks in advance |
