C70 Brake Discs
Do I really have to take my wheels off to find out which of the three sizes I need for the front or can I find out using the VIN number? Anyone got a link?
The car is running 18” Mirzana wheels. Thanks J |

T5 and D5 use the 320mm discs (Volvo call this the 16.5" braking system). There is an eBay seller with Delphi disc and pad sets at very reasonable prices, I've just changed all four of mine.
I called FRF who would quote me prices but their system couldn't tell me the actual dimensions of the discs. I paid £175 for the full set of Delphi parts vs £300+ from Volvo. I like to use OEM parts but Delphi aren't exactly ECP own brand so I was happy to go with them.

Even Vida with VIN number may give you an option of 300 or 320mm setup, I think safest way is to measure them physically.
Other way is to read spec from car itself, but you need DiCe to do it so even more hassle. Oh, one thing. C70 *I THINK* had only 300 or 320mm option, so if tyhats the case, you can distinguish it by looking at calipers trough wheels: 300mm has a semi-circled notch 320 has more square-ish one (dont mind the colour) but to be 100% certain - measure them. I can recommend Amazon for disc prices. If you search well, you can get set of 320mm OEM (ATE) or zinc coated Brembos for 70-80 quid!
