HUD MPH Only?

Appreciate anyones thoughts or experience with the following.

Out of the country at the moment. When I choose the dashscreen menu option for touring KM,s it changes the dashscreen display to KM's from miles. However -

1. It reverts the setting back to MPH on each restart of the car, it never used to do this.

2. The HUD shows road signs in KPH but the speed display is in MPH. The HUD only shows MPH regardless of changing to KPM on the dashscreen. When driving this can be momentarily confusing as glancing at the HUD and comparing speed shown to road sign speed can fool you into thinking you are within the speed limit when it's not the case and you can be well over.

1. is a new problem. 2. has always been this way.

XC90 Inscription T8 fully up to date with latest available software updates.

With regard to 1., we were driving in France a month ago and had to change to KPH on every restart - I wasn’t too bothered by it as it was a fairly short trip of 5 days.
I am not sure if editing the Driver Profile for the period of driving abroad would avoid the need to keep altering it?
Unfortunately, I can’t help with 2., as I don’t have the HUD.

Mine stayed on restarts in France, Belgium, Holland both the units and the lights. At channel tunnel I had a warning to change the lights so I changed units there too.
I wonder if this is something to do with profiles. Try unlocking your profile before you change the units so it does not discard the changes

Been to France twice recently in 9 month old Xc60 and only go into settings, change to metric and all displays are changed. Stays like this until I reset back to mph.
Cannot comment on lights as have no way of changing mine, but keep getting told they are OK as is.

Changed all to metric as that seems to be the only way to have KPH in the HUD.

Deman77, yeap changing profile settings have sorted the reset problem on the dash display.
