Default Locking wheel nuts

Fellas,
Any idea if it's possible to buy non-genuine locking wheel nuts for a set of Virgo (GLT) alloys on a 240?
I don't really want to buy genuine Volvo ones as I expect the price to be extortionate.

Apart from the appearance of the lock nuts it should be OK. I once had 'over the counter' locking wheelnuts on my old 244 (fitted with genuine Volvo alloys).

I do know that the 900 series Volvo lock nuts will not fit the 200 series.

So any idea where I can buy some locking wheel nuts? Are they generally available from places like Halfords?

I believe that is where I got mine several years ago. Other 'small' parts/accessories shops are also a good place to try.

But be careful! I bought some a few years ago from a perfomance centre and although they were cheap they have now started to rust - the plating on aftermarket nuts is not so hot really.

Thanks for the info John. I'm having difficulties in trying to find the normal heavy chrome nuts for the virgo wheels, let alone the locking ones.
Anyone out there with a spare set?
