Default Adjusting door position

Hi all - I've one of the last old-style XC60's and am as happy with it as the previous two.. apart from one thing!

There is quite a bit of road noise thats present on the drivers side - at the 500mile inspection I asked them to check if the wing mirror was secure (there was a bit of play) but nothing found.. now some 2,500 miles later I'm convinced that its the sealing of the door at the top of the frame. It feels like the weather strip (the velvet bit) isn't sealing as well as it could..

Now the simple answer (and one that I'll try today!) is to put some additional fabric along the top of the door and see if that makes a difference. Assuming it does, is there an easy way to adjust the hinge to "angle" the door a bit to make it a tighter fit at the top? Or is this a dealer thing?

I've recently had a similar thing with my 2018 XC60. I mentioned it to my dealer, they did a smoke test, not sure what this involves, but it obviously showed a gap because they adjusted the door which seems to have solved the problem.
