Absolutely. I'm sure there have been some quality control improvements and modifications to mechanical parts fitted at the factory, thus improving later builds. However, there is also an improvement to existing vehicles built since launch with new software and recalls.

No "real" issues with my MY16 XC90. Have had an occasional warning that has gone away and two Sensus reboots.
