Yes when in dynamic it has a higher tick over with Polestar too so it is faster off the mark. Polestar in comfort mode works great.

Thanks again, I have had several loan car XC90's but never thought to try dynamic mode in them to see if they are all the same.

The biggest difference/benefit that I noticed with Polestar optimisation is smoother acceleration, especially when moving from a standstill. Even my wife from the passenger seat noticed this. The car doesn't move you (neck/head) forward anymore when switching between gears at sharp acceleration.

OK so had a chat on the phone with my Service Manager today (he had had Polestar put on my car for me to try), he did not know about Volvo's Affinity Scheme but he went away to find out.

When he came back to me he said the Polestar Affinity offer had finished at the end of 2016 and was now a 10% discount along with other accessories. (£765.00inc VAT)

He had however been in touch with the Volvo Regional Manager who had agreed to provided Polestar to me for £550.00 inc. VAT because of the previous problems I have had with the car.

Yes totally agree Tem, and now Skoda have moved out I hope it won't be to many weeks before they get the Volvo workshops built and on to the same premises as their Sales. I know the Branch Manager was hoping for September(ish).

Just to close this thread, my Dealer's Service Manager rang me on Tuesday as he had been sent the paper work from Volvo and asking for payment, have today received the paid jnvoice and got an even better deal - £471.41 inc VAT!

So A*++ to the dealer and Volvo UK for this one.
