Default ordinary g/oil mixed with fully synthetic?

Hi,

Last time I had the car serviced I asked the independent garage to top up the gear oil if neccessary. Since then I have found out that the oil recommended for the gearbox is fully synthetic. If the garage has topped it up with ordinary mineral gearoil will this cause a problem? - as I assume that the box already contained fully synthetic from the factory.

Any comments appreciated, thanks,
Donal

Default all you need to know about oil

the undermentioned website is ran by an oil chemist, and highlights the pros and cons relating to oil, and additives, also various tests were conducted by him, an interesting read.
