Thanks for the link - just ordered some!
The only 240 breakdown Ive ever experienced (last month) was due to a faulty plastic fuse Cheers Ian

Can't argue with that and I checked too. I'd guess that the listings have run out but would also think they will be back. They sold lots of other electrical bits and pieces. You could always mail them through eBay and I'm sure they would deal off the Bay for the other ratings.

Dragging up an old perennial here...
I'm looking for ceramic fuses - which are actually ceramic. Some of the previous links in this thread are either old or not working. There's plenty of sellers on ebay stocking these types of fuses, and calling them 'ceramic', but they are in fact plastic. Or maybe there's a type of plastic which is high-temp. Also - is it not better to get ones with yellow (brass?) filaments - because the aluminium ones seem to react with the metal of the fuse holders (with the added ingredient of moisture). NB jcrsupplies - the same ebay seller mentioned in previous posts - is still selling 25A ceramic ones - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25AMP-CERA...8AAOSwpzdWqeqk - but I'm mostly after white 8A and red 16A.
