Smile V40 air con to non air con update.

Hi again.
Just to say having researched this more and found far more information on air con DIY and how to charge the system, I have decided to do it properly and keep the car as original as possible. It will be a first for me (so fingers crossed) then I can say that there is not a single thing on this car that I haven't don within the realms of home mechanics.

I understand to bypass the AC pulley I will obviously need a shorter auxiliary belt so my question is :-

Looking at my engine details below , Has anyone carried out this job on the same engine type ? and if so do you recall the length of the auxiliary belt ? this would save me a lot of research that nowadays takes up more time than the job itself, I would be grateful for any help please.
Engine details:- B4204 T3, Displacement 1.95, 162 hp,121kw and if it helps the belt needs to be the 6 ribbed.
Thank You.

The beauty of the '40 is there's always a way.

That's interesting, do you simply have a blank button instead of the AC switch?
