Intermittent Judder at cold idle
Occasionally when i start the car it will run rough and it makes the whole car judder. I have no EMLs or fault codes. it seems to last maybe 30 seconds. the idle speed seems unaffected and the throttle responds instantly and smoothly. any think i should look at first?

Anything at all misfire wise I always start with the plugs, if your car is diesel then by all means disregard this because I am a blithering idiot lol

It is a T4 so start with the plugs.
My son has a V50 T5 - not the same but similar. His car developed an intermittent misfire - only for a second or so, but kept doing it. No codes, nothing untoward showing on the live data on the diagnostics. The plugs were genuine Volvo and had done around 10,000mls, so he went through everything as he thought the plugs would be fine. Couldn't find the cause and then fitted a new set of plugs. problem solved instantly.
