SRS 00d1 Service urgent
Hi Everyone. I have had this persistent problem - passenger side seat buckle causing code 00d1. I have tried clearing the code, when that didn't work I had the DIM refurbished but the code is still there. I have just switched the belt buckles but the problem is still on the passenger side. Please could someone tell me if I should get the SRS control module replaced/refurbed, or would this show as a different code? Could it be my code reader (Autel 802) not able to clear the code?
Any advice gratefully received, I'm pulling my hair out! Thanks |

You need the proper Volvo software on the job.
This will give you the correct fault description and a fix process which saves you randomly swapping parts. It will then clear the code once the correct fix has been carried out.

Thanks Cheshired5. Will buying a VIDA/DICE do, or do you mean taking it to a dealer?

Providing you have a suitably specced laptop, having your own Dice and Vida setup may well be enough.
If a new SRS module is needed though, a dealer visit for part supply and software could be the only solution. At this moment, there's no definitive answer either way.

Ok. I took it to a local independent who cleared the code for a few quid. Should've done that in the first place!
