Have You Rebuilt The Brake Master Cylinder ???
Has anybody rebuilt the early ATE brake master cylinder ??
I've bought a rebuild seal kit but, I can't see an obvious way of stripping the thing down! This is one of the early 1995 pre tracs cylinders with to separated ports from the reservoir to the body not the one where they are next to each other. Any ideas? Any body actually succeeded in doing this? The only thing I can think is the little steel pin inside the reservoir bore is retaining the piston assembly, but it appears to be a tight press fit flush so nothing to grip on. If anybody knows or if there is a how to knocking around I would be most gratefull if you could link to it for me,as I can't do forum searches on this Amazon Fire (just doesn't work!) And google/YouTube turned up nothing useful. T.I.A. Martyn
