  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Don't know if anyone's interested - this 740 "VOLVO 740 SALOON 2.0 PETROL SILVER BARN FIND - STORED For the last 6 years, Great condition" for some inexplicable reason this link turned up in my "want/watching/searching" inbox a few minutes ago.

TWO grand?! It has no MOT, needs four new tyres, has bulbs out, 145k miles, stored for 6 years so will probably need a whole lot more that you cant see?

I think you would have to be clinically insane to consider that at that price! £500 maybe but £2k?!

I really do take your point.

However, it might be worth a punt and/or visit if you're looking for a reasonable starting point for the basis of a project given the photos re: condition & etc.... you never know it just might be worth a haggle - given the price of tyres, MOT et al if your looking for a large carrier/estate it might well be a return on an investment if the purchase price was right.

It looks nice enough, but with no MOT, the most I'd give would be about £75 Or £100 if it had been an estate.

It's got too many pedals as well.
