I think only the post facelift had lip spoiler. In my view, the full spoiler looks a lot better on these. Lip spoilers should be reserved for E39 BMW 5 series saloons only!

The SE of that era always came with a lip spoiler whereas the Sport and SE Sport came with the raised spoiler and bodykit.

Given I wanted the bodykit and a lip spoiler I bought an SE then added the bodykit afterwards to get the look I wanted. Raised spoilers aren't for me but we all have our preferences, it's what makes us all different and interesting ;-)

Yes mate when I've bought all the stuff then I will pm you when I'm going to fit it all .i have all the tools and a garage too .you will also get to see my other beast a 940 saloon with a difference

Hmm, now I see Ian's lip spoiler I'm not so sure. Looks pretty damn good also.
