Default Volvo V70 D5 SE 2004 For Sale

Hi,

I've recently started up a business with my wife working from home so I no longer need my V70. I've owned it for the past couple of years and it has been fantastic on the commute.

It's a facelift Phase 2 model but still has the Euro 3 engine (163 bhp) so better reliability with no dpf or egr issues. I searched hard for this particular model. The geartronic gearbox is flawless thanks to being professionally rebuilt by Exeter Gearbox Centre just before I bought the car. The car has 176k on the clock but this will probably rise slightly.

Since I've owned it I've done the cambelt and tensioner, thermostat and brakes all around (twice). Apart from tyres that's all it's needed.

Cream leather interior, electric tinted windows, auto wipers, iPod and Bluetooth enabled stereo via a Grom box. There's also the rare optional Subwoofer in the boot that I'll include if I receive the asking price.

The bodywork is pretty good for its age, a few scratches and dings here and there. The heater doesn't work properly, it gets hot on a good run but around town it doesn't get overly hot, possibly an airlock in the system but I don't have the time to look into it. The alarm also has an issue, intermittently going off. It's a common issue with the battery in the alarm corroding the electrics. I pulled the fuse which causes a message on the dash on start up.

MoT until March 2017 but a new one can be arrange for the sale.

Looking for £2500 but open to offers.

Any questions, send me a message or call/text on Oh-7779-three-85545.

Cheers,

Dan

Vehicle mileage would be good. Also, I wonder if the non-functioning heater has anything to do with the lack of coolant in the car.

I've amended the post with the mileage, I thought the I'd put up a photo of the dash showing the mileage, but obviously not. I'm selling the wife's XC90 as well so I got confused.

The heater has been like it since I bought the car. There is coolant in the car, it just looks a bit low in the photo. Always been flushed and topped up with G48 as advised by my local factors.
