how do i find out what bhp my d5 is?

its a 2003 v70 d5 se.

my 185 and all the others I've looked at have a grey cover on engine all the 163's have a black cover

black cover, so it must be 163.

The Euro 4 163 has a grey cover.

Black cover means Euro 3 which by default is only the 163.
Grey cover means Euro 4 which could be either 163 or 185.

as its a 03 it will be euro 3 so 163 the 185 didn't come out till 05
