Default Caravan broken into while in storage

On approach to Christmas we were called by elite caravans in Northampton where our van is stored, who informed us along that our and van 9 other vans had been broken into, the thieving bas***ds have cleared the van out of literally everything, even the toilette cassette!!

We removed items like Tv etc, but a full size awning plus annex and a porch awning to name but a few

We were due to head to Cornwall for Xmas and new year too, never a good time for this to happen but now just really sucks

Wishing everyone a merry Xmas

Regards

Could be worse "they" stole my complete caravan that we were almost finished packing for a month in France.

CC Insurance were great and we got a "new for old" van and contents just in time for the holiday.

I hope you insurance are as good as ours and it all gets sorted out.

At the end of the day they are only things so don't let them spoil your Christmas and new year.

I completely understand how you feel.

SWMBO didn't want ours back. We had to wait 6 weeks before the CC insurance would pay out in case it was found!!

I sympathise with all affected by the unfeeling scum that think they can help themselves with whatever they like nowadays. Years ago we had a trailer-tent trashed by thieves who slashed their way in - for what? Just some food and the portable telly, and of course the Police are not interested.
It has to be thought that there could be some jealously about it all: they see wealth so want some. The same with cars - my friend inherited some money from a grandmother so bought a new but humble car. In the first week it had been keyed twice whilst parked outside his house yet when he borrowed a car less new whilst his was resprayed, no problem. He gets his back - and it is keyed again: result - they moved.

We had our van broken into a few years ago, police not interested until I said that they had the nerve to have a cigarette while doing it, at least they used the ash tray, DNA was just started being used so they were excited to send someone out within 30 mins to collect it and use there new toys, got a call about a year later saying that somebody in Devon had been stopped for a traffic offence and a routine DNA test came up positive 8-) got let off with a caution 8-(
