Best £5 I've spent!
I found my s60 to have a very uncomfortable arm rest on my elbow.
Its a manual and never noticed this when driving an auto. Anyway I bought one of these for a few £ http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Luxu...YAAOSw~OdVVG0n Fits perfectly, doesnt move, doesnt look tacky and is very comfy. Highly recommended. |

Good find. Does it also stop the arm rest box from cracking and squeaking?

Yes, my glove box is now silent.
To be honest I only paid about £3 looking back. Well worth it. |

Even 45+ years ago, when a friend from high school's Dad had a car dealership, a silicone spray was applied on the interior panels to allay squeaks and chirps all the time.
They also had undercoating....and financing. |

Think I'll be trying one of these. At £3 it's worth buying to see how it looks. If it doesn't look right then no harm no foul.
