Default Best £5 I've spent!

I found my s60 to have a very uncomfortable arm rest on my elbow.
Its a manual and never noticed this when driving an auto.

Anyway I bought one of these for a few £

Fits perfectly, doesnt move, doesnt look tacky and is very comfy.
Highly recommended.

Good find. Does it also stop the arm rest box from cracking and squeaking?

Amazing (and disturbing) how cheap things shipped from China are!

Yes, my glove box is now silent.
To be honest I only paid about £3 looking back.
Well worth it.

Maybe, maybe not...but I've found that a good spray around the edges and joints in the plastic and sections with a silicone spray works wonders. Stopped mine squeaking! This is what I used http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p219...licone%20spray

Even 45+ years ago, when a friend from high school's Dad had a car dealership, a silicone spray was applied on the interior panels to allay squeaks and chirps all the time.

They also had undercoating....and financing.

Think I'll be trying one of these. At £3 it's worth buying to see how it looks. If it doesn't look right then no harm no foul.
