The easiest thing I've decided is to do what my dad did when I was a child.
We had two cars on the driveway and we would take turns at started them up and warming up the seats in the winter whilst he was eating his breakfast!

Now if only I could convince the kids to wake up at 5:30 to get the car ready for my early morning departures.
